The day that I met these two, I was soaked to the bone from the torrential rainstorms outside of the restaurant that we met at. I have to say, it was very unprofessional - me drying my clothes off with the hand dryer in the bathroom and getting ready to talk about wedding photography. But Lee and Angie are not those kind of people. We laughed off the ridiculousness of the weather outside and carried on over drinks and appetizers about their hopes and plans for their upcoming future. They were awesome. Just plan awesome. I was so excited when they asked me to do their engagement photos (which were met with another ridiculous downpour) and their wedding photos!
Hoping we wouldn't carry their "let's meet when its raining outside" theme with us, their wedding day approached and it was perfect. SO perfect! Each little detail was amazing. Their wedding took place at Lee's parent's house on the most beautiful property I have ever seen. Canopied with towering trees, the property was laced with twinkle lights and babies breath. Logs held candles and the barn welcomed people for drinks and dancing. It was simple, elegant, and beautiful. Perfectly suited for these two!
It was so special to be a part of Lee and Angie's wedding day and so special to now be able to call them friends! I can't wait to see how their love and family grows.
Congratulations Lee & Angie!

And a huge special thank you to my amazing second shooter, Michelle Jacobson!
